When did the welfare of trade organizations become more important than the welfare of life? I feel horrendously bad for the poor animals that are going to have to suffer due to this poor judgement call!

Supreme Court overturns California slaughterhouse law
The court struck down a law that requires the immediate euthanization of animals that cannot walk, ruling that meat safety law takes precedence. The state law was adopted after the Humane Society released an undercover video showing workers abusing nonambulatory cattle at a slaughterhouse in southern California.
